Forever inspired by the idea of merging past and present, for this collection I wanted to create wearable fragments of ancient history. Powerful talismans inspired by our oldest human instincts, our connection to the earth, to our ancestors and to the enduring idea of protection.

The history of the arrowhead stretches back to the Paleolithic period, when early humans shaped stone into blades and projectile points for hunting and survival. Among the materials they worked with was obsidian, known for its remarkable sharpness. Formed when molten lava cools rapidly, obsidian has been hand-knapped into these tools for hundreds of thousands of years.

Today, obsidian is often associated with grounding, strength and protection, giving these ancient forms a new meaning as modern-day amulets.
